The owner of Superstar Buds says Waukesha County detectives told him they had been buying undercover products from him since January and test results revealed they had an illegal amount of THC. Chris says he and one of his employees were arrested on the day of the seizure and released 24 hours later in anticipation of multiple drug offences. Back in Menomonee Falls, the Waukesha County Sheriff`s Office said it was the lead agency in the case and executed a search warrant with the assistance of Menomonee Falls police. “I think some of the owners of these CBD stores are relying on federal laws to make their case, when it`s actually very clear in the state of Wisconsin that none of these products, CBD or THC, that contain psychoactive ingredients are allowed to be sold,” he said. The office says these products have been labeled by the company as CBD or delta-8-THC.
